Good News from Elizabeth at Drudge Family Maple Syrup! Etobicoke Farmers Market is now open again! We were able to start on July 25! It was great to see our faithful customers again and we thank each one who came to pick up their Maple Syrup. Of course there are new guidelines this Summer, but everyone co-operated very nicely, and the day went well. We are in our usual spot and are ready to serve you each Saturday from 8:00 am to 2:00 pm from now until October 31, at 399 The West Mall at Burnhamthorpe.
Unfortunately, because of COVID-19 regulations, John is not allowed to make fresh Apple Fritters at the market, so there are a lot of disappointed customers.
Come and visit our stand and be inspired to use more Maple Syrup. It is so delicious and can be used in so many wonderful ways.
We have a variety of sizes, from 4 L, 2 L, 1 L in glass and plastic, 500 ml in glass and plastic, 250 ml in glass and plastic, and 100 ml. We also have Maple Leaf-shaped candy; Maple Spread which is delicious on toast; Granulated Maple Sugar to use in baking instead of refined sugar; and Maple Popcorn.
We have 2 grades of Maple Syrup; Amber and Dark. “Amber” is a medium flavour and colour and can be used on your cereal, in coffee, and on pancakes. “Dark” has a stronger Maple flavour and is wonderful in baking, although many people prefer “Dark” for pancakes. Both grades are delicious! Try each one and enjoy the fantastic treat from the local Ontario Maple trees, made by Drudge Family Maple Syrup!
